Vălul Miresei Waterfall: the spectacle near Răchițele

One of the most spectacular natural sights in the Vlădeasa area: a waterfall of about 30 metres, in three tiers. The water spreads over the rock like a veil — hence the name.
Driving route: Măgura Cabins → Bălcești → Răchițele → Valea Stanciului → the waterfall. The last part follows Valea Stanciului; road conditions can vary after rain.
From the car park to the waterfall: a short walk, suitable for families too. We recommend footwear with a good grip — the surrounding rocks are wet.
For hikers: mountain trails towards the Lespezi area and Vlădeasa start from the waterfall. These are no longer simple walks — set off with proper gear, water and enough time.
